“ If you're looking for a quiet, romantic dinner spot... keep walking. But if you're in the mood for bold flavors, chaotic energy, and the occasional need to shout your order across the table like you're in a street market in Bangkok--Hawkers is the place. We absolutely love coming here. It's loud, it's crowded, and it's got the kind of "organized chaos" that feels like part of the charm. The food? Always slaps. Dumplings? Divine. Noodles? A spiritual experience. Wings? Honestly, I'd throw hands for the last one. It's a total staple in 5 Points--if you haven't been, do you even live here? The vibes are always vibing, and the cocktails are dangerously good. Highly recommend if you enjoy flavor and fun. ”
“ The ambience was very comfortable but still nice and good for a date or night out with the friends. Our server was absolutely amazing. He had great food knowledge, suggestion's, and even took pictures of my mom and us for her birthday. The food was out of this world. The pictures speak for themselves. I honestly wish I had more stomach because there are even more choices I would like to try! You can't go wrong with any of these options especially the twice fried wings. 10/10 and definitely coming back. ”
“ The atmosphere here is perfectly designed for good food and drinks with friends. Perfect for a group who wants to let loose and be a little loud with laughs, as the place is bustling and bustling with an open kitchen and lively feel. Happy hour deals for certain food dishes were excellent with $5 on many items until 6. I wish they had hot sake instead of cold, but I will not take away any rating as that is a personal preference not a critique. ”
“ We love Hawkers and every time we come we're reminded why! Our server was lovely and so attentive and helpful with suggesting food and drinks and checked on us frequently. Everything we ordered was delicious. I'm currently pregnant and their mocktail section is great, my Dragonfruit green tea drink was delicious. I also love that you can join the virtual waitlist on their website to try to beat the crowd since it's always busy. Definitely recommend and you must get the Roti! ”
“ GET THE YAKI UDON!!!! I like this place so much and it's decorated interior has a lively and funky bright vibe. The description says small plates, but the portions here are good sized. It's best to make a reservation because even on a Thursday, it can get really busy. I assumed the portions would be smaller like dim sum style, but I was pleasantly surprised when I realized how physically heavy my food was. The Yaki udon is finished with chili oil so it has a little kick of spice, but it's not too hot and the depth of flavor there is unmatched. It was extremely busy the night I came and people were milling around and waiting outside the establishment to get in. It was a lot of the younger crowd, fairly loud and the service was still top tier. I can't speak to consistency, but based on the amount of people waiting to get in and the quality of the items I ordered, I can't imagine this food or service being any less consistent. You can see the kitchen right as you come in. You can watch them work while you wait and have a drink. The efficiency at which the kitchen is performing with is extremely impressive. To go orders were flying out. Nothing sat in the window more than a minute or two. Every single plate that hit a table was steaming hot. People were constantly coming and going. The hosts also bus tables and the to go order team somehow find a way in the middle of the noise, people and chaos to get their orders out. I don't think I saw anyone wait more than 5 minutes for a to go order. I can definitely see this being a weekly spot if visiting with friends for a drink and some noodles. I got the Yaki udon, curry mashed potatoes, crispy duck bao, pork belly bao, chicken satay skewers and a rice bowl. We had so many leftovers. Between the four of us, the unanimous favorite was the Yaki udon. Don't get me wrong, EVERYTHING was soooo good, but the NOODLES THOOOO!! 100/10. Hands down best Yaki udon I've EVER had. Run, don't walk. ”
“ Visited on a whim for the first time on Saturday. This place is a great little vibe. I thoroughly enjoyed my wings and my drink was amazing, I loved the fries and the dipping sauce was great. Will be returning to try the sticky ribs. Our waiter Tom was exceptional. ”
“ Haven't been in a while and not sure why because the food is amazing. Such a great vibe to this place and the music was great. Kylan provided great service and all of the food was fresh. I couldn't decide what to order and she made a wonderful suggestion. The CKT was perfect! The roti canai is delicious. Just plan for parking since it is in Five Points. ”
“ Amazing Asian Street Food. Was in town for business and coworkers took us here for lunch. I am very glad they did. I had the C.K.T. Based on a recommendation of the hostess and was not disappointed. Our server was on point, always punctual, never let our glasses go empty and was absolutely lovely. The vibe here is casual with a blend of funky. We will definitely return the next time we are in town. If you are ever in this part of Jacksonville, this is a must visit. ”
“ This place is always a want. Haven't been in a few years so definitely wanted to check it out yesterday. My family & I shared a few foods. Wings (chili sauce), was bummed they weren't tossed in the sauce. The ribs, AMAZING! Pad Thai w/ the fried egg, AMAZING! Side of fries, seasoning well with a yummy green sauce for dipping. We should've done two entrees as we were bit hungry still but the $$$ is what made us not. Overall, Everyone is always extremely kind and helpful. The restaurant itself is super cool- lots to look at. Hope to be back soon! ”
